Knott’s Boysenberry Festival returns once again for the 2024 season to Knott’s Berry Farm and it brings with it a berry special assortment of food and drinks celebrating the park’s most famous berry. With a hosted Tasting Card, we were able to experience many of the items this year to share a review.

Here’s a look at everything you can sink your teeth into during the 2024 Knott’s Boysenberry Festival!

About the Tasting Card

The 2024 Knott’s Boysenberry Festival Tasting Card is available to ALL guests which means you have the opportunity to taste your way through a choice of six different dishes (including alcoholic beverages) from participating locations.

Redemptions for the Tasting Card can also be used at participating locations around the park which you can learn more about below.

Prices:

• Online Price: $55+ tax + processing fee ($60.25)
• In-Person Price: $58 + tax ($62.50)

VALUE ALERT: To get the most bang for your buck out of the 6-coupon passport, you’ll just want to make sure you don’t get any of the items that cost less than $10.04 (online price) or $10.42 (in-person price). Considering the a la carte prices, that shouldn’t be terribly difficult as long as you avoid desserts and drinks!

Peach and Cheese Burrata Caprese Salad

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Peach and Cheese Burrata Caprese Salad with a Boysenberry Dressing was another surprise hit for us. We weren’t expecting to be wowed by a salad but all of the ingredients work together in fantastic harmony. For lack of a better description, it tastes fancy — like something you’d have at a wedding. Sounds weird to say but it’s a must-try and possibly best of the fest??

Mini Funnel Cake with Boysenberry Ice Cream

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Mini Funnel Cake with Boysenberry Ice Cream and Powdered Sugar holds no surprises but it’s just a nice simple boysenberry pick me up with the fresh fried warm dough and the nice cold boysenberry soft serve.

Boysenberry BBQ Chicken Wings

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Boysenberry BBQ Chicken Wings are smothered in delicious boysenberry BBQ sauce. We’ve had these in previous years and found them to be a solid choice. There’s a reason these come back year after year. The boysenberry sauce is perfection on these well-seasoned wings.

Boysenberry Sausage and Hot Honey Pizza

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Boysenberry Sausage and Hot Honey Pizza with ricotta and basil gets top marks. This is a nice simple slice with great bold flavors that are not fighting with each other but instead working in sweet harmony.

Boysenberry Dippin’ Dots

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Boysenberry Dippin’ Dots are a Knott’s Berry Farm classic. We’ve had these in previous years and found them to be absolutely tasty and satisfying. The berry burst from the signature little beads of flavor are a great pairing.

Vegan Boysenberry Chia Parfait

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫

Vegan Boysenberry Chia Parfait was another surprising one, we were not expecting to love this as much as we did. The chia pudding is lightly sweet with a good boysenberry flavor that lets the fresh berries also share the spotlight. Boysenberry Corn Dog

Boysenberry Corn Dog with Boysenberry Mustard is a really fun idea for a classic snack and it works perfectly. On first glance the dark corn dog seems offputting but one bite into the delightful crispy batter reveals a bright purple breading that’s fantastic. The mustard is a fun complement.

FUN Bun

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫

FUN Bun is a Knott’s classic featuring a deep fried cinnamon bun with a boysenberry glaze and powdered sugar. We’ve tried this in previous years and there’s a reason it’s a fan phenomenon. It’s over the stop, incredibly sweet, and not for the weak of stomach. It’s a fun flavor bomb. Also sold at Sutter’s Funnel Cake.
