What We Tried at Festival Marketplaces
The Festival Marketplaces are small kiosks that dot the park. While themed options exist all around the resort, the offerings from these locations are specifically centered on the event.
Cluck-A-Doodle-Moo
Cheese Pizza-flavored Wings
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫
Cheese Pizza-flavored Wings ($8.50) are served with ranch dip and are a really fun option to to try. They are not life changing but the seasoning is great and the ranch is choice. There’s four wings to an order so it’s also a good one to share.
BBQ Beef Brisket Slider
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫
BBQ Beef Brisket Slider ($9) features smoked white cheddar with dill pickles on salt and pepper brioche is a classic through and through. We’ve tried this in previous years it was offered and there’s no surprises here, just a great meld of delicious flavors that should satisfy even picky eaters.
More to Try:
- Kiwi-Apple Lemonade: Minute Maid Lemonade, apple juice, and kiwi and Granny Smith apple syrups garnished with a purple orchid (Non-alcoholic beverage) (NEW)
- Tangerine Tiki Cocktail: Dark rum, vanilla-citrus liqueur, tangerine and lime juices, and honey syrup garnished with a dried red pineapple wheel (NEW)
D-Lish
Carbonara Garlic Mac & Cheese
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Carbonara Garlic Mac & Cheese ($9) features Nueske’s Peppered Bacon and is an absolute standout. There’s a reason that this comes back year after year, it’s satisfying in all the right ways. Cheesy, salty, garlicy. This does not disappoint.
More to Try:
- Olive Oil Cake glazed with lemon curd, topped with vanilla bean Chantilly, and finished with fresh candied lemons, strawberry crunch, and lemon-lime gelée (NEW)
- Huckleberry-Citrus Cooler: Gold Peak Black Tea, huckleberry and agave syrups, grapefruit soda, and lemon and orange juices garnished with an orange wedge (Non-alcoholic beverage) (NEW)
Earth Eats
IMPOSSIBLE Chicken Parm Bites
RATING: ☀️☀️⚫⚫⚫
IMPOSSIBLE Chicken Parm Bites ($8.50) are covered with tomato and cheese sauces and grated parmesan and are perfectly fine. This is basically chicken nuggets covered in sauce and cheese. Bad? No. Just no big surprises. The chicken, unsurprisingly, is fantastic as are most plant-based IMPOSSIBLE products we’ve tried at Disney’s food festivals.
IMPOSSIBLE Beef Stroganoff
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫
IMPOSSIBLE Beef Stroganoff ($9) is a plant-based dish that features egg noodles tossed in a mushroom cream sauce with IMPOSSIBLE beef and sour cream. We actually really enjoyed this one but be warned that this is a very mushroom forward dish. Unsurprisingly, you’d be hard-pressed to easily identify this was all plant-based! It’s warm, homey, and simply satisfying.
Watermelon Cucumber Mojito
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️⚫⚫
Watermelon Cucumber Mojito ($17) features White rum, watermelon liqueur, mojito and cucumber syrups, watermelon purée, and lime juice topped with Topo Chico and garnished with a watermelon spear with Tajín twist. It gives agua fresca vibes which is not a bad thing but almost tasted watered down. This is an alcoholic drink and not eligible for Sip and Savor.
Garlic Kissed
Grilled Top Sirloin
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Grilled Top Sirloin ($9) features roasted garlic-Gruyère smashed potatoes with black garlic chimichurri. We’ve tried this in previous years it was offered and found this to be a strong contender for best of the fest with savory hearty flavors balanced by a bright chimichurri. Must try!
More to Try:
- Guava-Lychee Mule: Vodka, guava nectar, ginger and lychee syrups, and lemon juice topped with guava cider and garnished with a lemon wheel
Golden Dreams
Frozen Old Fashioned
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Frozen Old Fashioned ($7) features a non-alcoholic bourbon-flavored ice cream, bitters crema, orange zest glaze, and cherry spheres. This is such an awesome treat and although pricey it’s a really unique dessert experience with a lot of great flavors.
Fig Matcha Latte
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Fig Matcha Latte ($7) is non-alcoholic and features cold matcha, soy milk, and coconut and simple syrups topped with a fig oat sweet cream and garnished with matcha powder. We were really surprised how much we enjoyed this one. The matcha itself is fairly standard but that sweet cold cream brings such a wonderful flavor and a hit of sweetness that we found irresistible.
Blueberry Pancake Cold Brew
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Blueberry Pancake Cold Brew ($7.25) is non-alcoholic and features Joffrey’s Mexico Origin Coffee, brown butter, maple and demerara syrup, and oat milk with a blueberry sweet cream made with cream, oat milk, vanilla syrup, and purée garnished with cinnamon-flavored cereal crumble. We’ve tried this in previous years it was offered, it’s very sweet, very good!
More to Try:
- Peach Cobbler Cocktail: Moonshine, peach and amaretto liqueur, peach nectar, condensed milk, vanilla and cinnamon syrups, and lemon juice garnished with frozen peaches (NEW)
LA Style
Carnitas-style Pork Belly
RATING: ☀️☀️⚫⚫⚫
Carnitas-style Pork Belly ($9) with esquites corn mac salad featuring Tajín Habanero seasoning. It pains us to give this such a low rating but while the pork belly is perfectly seasoned and well-cooked, the cold mac salad is all sorts of strange. It was quite vinegary and there’s nothing “esquites” that comes across from the flavor. So half the dish is wasted.
Baja-style Fish Taco
RATING: ☀️⚫⚫⚫⚫
Baja-style Fish Taco ($7.25) is a plant-based dish with cabbage slaw, cilantro-lime crema and pico de gallo. We wanted so badly to love this but it just did not work. For us, measures of a bad fish taco are the crumbly breading you see here (like frozen fish sticks) and a flour tortilla — both of which are included here.
More to Try:
- Spicy Strawberry Cocktail: Gin, strawberry and tamarind purées, strawberry syrup, pineapple juice, chile spices, and Tajín chamoy garnished with a Tamarindo straw (NEW)
Nuts About Cheese
PB&J Whiskey Shake
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
PB&J Whiskey Shake ($16) is made with peanut butter whiskey, raspberry liqueur, vanilla ice cream, Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. Mexico Origin Coffee, and peanut butter & raspberry syrups, garnished with a raspberry. This is worth every penny, it is is a frosty masterpiece and a standout this year. This is an alcoholic drink and not eligible for Sip and Savor.
BBQ Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️⚫⚫
Big Bad BBQ Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese ($9) is topped with crispy dill pickle onions is actually quite nice. The mac and cheese itself is not particularly memorable but all the special toppings do all the heavy lifting here. The meat is tender and flavorful and the BBQ sauce has a really nice blend of spices. The dill pickle onions were also great.
Snickers Mickey Macaron
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Mickey-shaped Macaron made with SNICKERS ($7.75) features a chocolate Mickey-shaped macaron filled with caramel ganache and SNICKERS pieces. We’ve tried this in previous years it was offered and it really is just a great morsel of chocolatey goodness. You’re not you when you’re hungry so let this be part of your culinary adventure.
Peppers Cali-Ente
Shrimp Papas Locas
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Shrimp Papas Locas ($8.75) features cheddar-bacon potatoes with jalapeño cheese sauce and chipotle shrimp. The success of this one is gonna depend on how fresh it is when you get it because all the sauce here can make this a soggy mess but the flavors are fantastic and this was one of our favorites!
Chile Relleno Empanada
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫
Chile Relleno Empanada ($8.5) with arbol pepper salsa featuring Oaxaca and cotija cheeses is a great meat-free option. We’ve tried this in previous years it was offered and the fun handheld treat features bold flavors and a little bit of heat. It’s not a must-try but definitely worth a buy!

Cheeseburger Bao
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫
Cheeseburger Bao ($8.50) is filled with seasoned ground beef and topped with Thousand Island dressing, grilled onions, pickle, and tomato relish. So often gimmicky baos can be really off-putting but this one definitely works. The flavors all work really well together and this is hardly an authentic dish but it’s worth a try!
S’mores Caramel Tart
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
S’mores Caramel Tart ($7) features a graham cracker tart shell filled with caramel and chocolate ganache topped with a toasted marshmallow. This ganache is thick and rich with a wonderful silky texture. This decadent and over-the-top good. The marshmallow and caramel are also great complements.
Frozen Mangonada Beer Slush
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Frozen Mangonada Beer Slush ($18) features Brewery X Baja Boi, mango purée, rock melon syrup, grapefruit juice, and mango-chamoy glaze. This is another highlight of the festival. The flavors work in perfect balance. Tangy and sweet. Delicious! This is an alcoholic drink and not eligible for Sip and Savor.

What We Tried at Other Sip and Savor Locations
Beyond the Festival Marketplace kiosks, there’s a bunch of options all around the park that will offer Sip and Savor taste-size portions instead of the full-size entrees.
Studio Catering Co. / Hollywood Lounge
Chicken Lollipop
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Chicken Lollipop ($7.99) is a beer-brined chicken drumstick with poblano mashed potatoes, caramelized fennel, and fried carrots. Surprisingly, this one might be one of our top picks this year. Those poblano mashed potatoes are obsession worthy and the crispy chicken is a fantastic complement. We could eat a whole dinner of this!
Paradise Garden Grill
Tacos Gobernador
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Tacos Gobernador ($14.99 for a full size portion that includes rice and beans) — which is also available as a Sip and Savor portion — features chipotle-marinated shrimp tacos with pepper Jack cheese. We’ve tried this in previous years it was offered (at Festival of Holidays) and they are incredibly satisfying with some nice heat, salt, and tang.
More to Try:
- Pistachio Cheesecake: New York-style pistachio cheesecake (NEW)
Smokejumpers Grill
Pastrami Fries
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
Pastrami Fries ($8.49) features crinkle-cut fries topped with cheese sauce, pastrami, Smokejumpers Grill sauce, and pickles. This is so salty and satisfying. if you like pastrami you will not be let down by the magic that’s happening here.
Cappuccino Cart
Honeydew Milk Tea
RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫
Honeydew Milk Tea ($7) is non-alcoholic and features coconut-lychee jelly topped with a creamy citrus foam. This was such a delightful way to start the morning. The jellies floating around might not be for everybody but we loved it and the bitterness of the cream was a great complement to the lightly sweet melon milk tea.
More to Try:
- Chocolate-Espresso Loaf: Chocolate-espresso cake filled with chocolate mousse and topped with dark chocolate ganache and chocolate and white chocolate curls (NEW)
Select Outdoor Vending Locations
Loaded Carnitas Pretzel Bites
RATING: ☀️☀️⚫⚫⚫
Loaded Carnitas Pretzel Bites ($7.75) with cheese sauce, salsa verde, cilantro, and onion. These are certainly not bad but they are far from loaded. All of the individual components are great on their own they just don’t all come together for a LOADED experience. Also, the pretzel bites were too soft making this all a bit without texture.

More to Try:
- Butter Cake à la Mode: Butter cake topped with vanilla ice cream, strawberries, and whipped cream (NEW)
