As expected, KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES launched its official trailer tonight during the Super Bowl LVIII. Only a small portion was aired during the commercial break but the full trailer was launched online.

This film under the direction of Wes Ball (“The Maze Runner” trilogy). The film will star Owen Teague (“It”), Freya Allen (“The Witcher”) and Peter Macon (“The Orville”).The screenplay is by Josh Friedman (“War of the Worlds”), Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (“Rise of the Planet of the Apes”), and Patrick Aison (“Prey”). Joe Hartwick Jr. (“The Maze Runner” trilogy), Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver and Jason Reed (“Mulan”) are the film’s producers. Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping are the executive producers.

PLANET OF THE APES is An all-new action-adventure spectacle, 20th Century Studios’ “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” opens exclusively in theaters nationwide May 10, 2024. The film breathes new life into the global, epic franchise set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign, in which apes are the dominant species living harmoniously and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.
