The legacy of the PEANUTS characters is inextricably linked to drawing and during the 2024 Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration, you can put pencil to paper because class is in session at the PEANUTS Sketch School.

There are multiple sessions each day and each one will feature a tutorial on how to draw a different PEANUTS character! When you enter, find a seat and grab a clipboard with paper and a pencil and get ready for the resident art teacher to help you sketch characters just like Charles M. Schulz himself!

PEANUTS Sketch School takes place at the Birdcage Theater in Ghost Town and typical showtimes are 11:30 am, 2:30p pm, and 4:40 pm. Doors open roughly a half hour before showtime but there’s no need to arrive more than 15 minutes early unless you are particular about where you sit in the theater but a large screen in the center of the stage is easily visible from anywhere in the house. Kids are invited to share a piece of rug right on the stage and draw along with the art teacher. Otherwise, all guests are welcomed to sit in the venue’s chair and sketch away.
