Disney fans were all abuzz this past weekend for the grand opening of the brand-new Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction at Disneyland and one of our favorite touches were actually some of the posters in the queue! Classic Disney films spanning decades were all adapted with a toon spin and the results were perfection. Here’s a look at the ten posters we spotted, presented in order of theatrical release from newest to oldest.
High School Goofical 3: Senior Year is a fun lift from 2008’s High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
The Chipmunk Trap is double the trouble from the classic remake of The Parent Trap with Lindsay Lohan released in 1998.
Meeska Mooska is a clever spin on 1993’s Hocus Pocus.
The Feisty Ducks didn’t need a rename to work with its send off of 1992’s The Mighty Ducks.
The Mouseketeer just writes itself as a parody of 1991’s The Rocketeer.
This photo is a double feature with Toonsies based off of 1992’s Newsies and Mickey, I Shrunk the Nieces based off 1989’s Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.
Goofy Friday is a perfect lift of 1977’s Freaky Friday — not the version with Lindsay Lohan and Jaime Lee Curtis, but the one with a young Jodi Foster!
The Scroogiest Millionaire is a perfect remake of the 1967 live action film The Happiest Millionaire.
Finally, we have a look at the Absent-Minded Professor Von Drake not so loosely based of 1961’s Absent-Minded Professor.
See it for Yourself
