SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular is back again at SeaWorld San Diego promising a festive day full of candy, costumes, colorful characters, music and more.

This family-friendly event features trick-or-treating and hay mazes plus a Halloween dance party to fun times with Sesame Street friends. Plus, this year also sees the return of the Spooktacular Pumpkin Hunt! Additional highlights include:

  • Costumed youngsters may trick-or-treat for ghoulish goodies. Each candy station on our trick-or-treat trail features an assortment of favorites from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Halloween Dance Party with line-dancing favorites and a costume parade
  • Meet the friendly Halloween mermaids each event day in this immersive experience along the Trick-or-Treat Trail.
  • Wander through a festive hay maze and meet some fun fall characters along the way.
  • Join Count von Count meeting new friends in a fun new show.
  • Día de los Muertos returns with large, beautifully dressed Catrina statues will welcome guests as they discover ofrendas (offerings) of mementos and flowers honoring loved ones who have passed.
  • Spooktacular Pumpkin Hunt Map is available to purchase to explore the park and track down SeaWorld and Halloween inspired painted pumpkins and redeem a special prize!

Howl-O-Scream

SeaWorld San Diego is debuting its first-ever Howl-O-Scream nighttime event with roaming haunts rampaging through scare zones and haunted houses with dark passageways home to ghoulish creatures lurking in the depths.

Plus, find new terrors with rides in the dark on Electric Eel, Manta and Journey to Atlantis then grab a spooky libation at interactive bars or feel the monstrous electricity of the live Vampire Circus show.
