For the past three years, we’ve found no better way to get out and enjoy nature AND the spirit of the holidays than at SkyPark at Santa’s Village in Sky Forest, CA near Arrowhead. We were invited to check out the opening weekend of the holiday season offerings and found ourselves staying for hours and hours to soak in the Christmas magic.
If you’ve never been, there’s a lot to do including…
Take in the Beauty of Nature
Hiking and Biking trails available to let you soak in the natural beauty of the mountain landscape. Wonder why they call it Sky Forest? Check out this photo below from our drive up the mountain!
Inside the park, enjoy their free hiking and biking trails.
EXPERIENCE Nature
If looking at nature is too passive an experience for you, you can bring your bike and fishing gear to the park or rent some of Santa’s (for an additional fee).
Meet Santa and Friends
Meet Santa at his house or find Mrs. Claus around the park. You can also get some face time with the Mrs. by booking a Tea or Cookie decorating experience (for extra charge).
Find Unique Holiday Experiences
King Celwyn tells stories during the day and invites you to explore the Fantasy Forest Trail night time lights. Grab a lantern and explore the forest and its enchanted evening display. Plus, enjoy other offerings throughout the day including puppet shows, storytelling, magicians, and other live entertainment!
At dusk, join Santa and his friends for a tree lighting moment.
Enjoy Some Good Eats
These Wings and Chicken Sandwich are served up to order at St. Nick’s. Take your number to the table and elves will come to you with your food. If you’re in the mood for a bigger feast, you can head over to Gatherings BBQ.
If the restaurants have a long wait, you can opt for some quicker eats at Coachworks, the Coffee Shop, or on busy days a hot dog cart.
