If you’re a fan of Disneyland and in you’re in the So Cal area in the month of August, you’d be remiss to not do yourself the favor to take a stroll down memory lane for a blast from the past to a visit to Yesterland at the THAT’S FROM DISNEYLAND exhibit. What exactly is it? It’s a temporary free pop-up exhibit that will culminate in an auction of one of the world’s largest private Disneyland memorabilia collections.
Avid collector Richard Kraft partnered up with famed Van Eaton Galleries to showcase a significant portion of his private collection in a family-friendly, interactive museum that celebrates the unique history and artistry of Disney theme parks. The whole thing takes up 40,000 square feet of a former Sports Authority Store.
After 25 years of hoarding artifacts from Disneyland in my home, office, and countless storage facilities, I’m swinging open the doors to my collection and throwing a bon voyage party for everyone who shares fond memories of Disneyland. This FREE exhibit is my way of saying goodbye to my beloved treasures from the Happiest Place on Earth.
– RICHARD KRAFT
The free pop-up exhibit is available August 1 – 26, 2018 culminating with an auction event from August 24 – 26, 2018. That’s right, you can actually OWN every piece that is on display if the price is right!
