Today during the Disney Parks and Resorts panel, Disney unleashed a while new world of concept art for changes chiming to Disneyland Resort.
We already knew about the new Star Wars themed land attractions for the Battle Escape and the Millennium Falcon attractions, but Disney also announced an update for Disney’s California Adventure that would rename Paradise Pier to Pixar Pier.
Enjoy the concept art!

D23 Expo 2017 takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center from July 14-16, 2017.
At first, I thought the Pixar Pier was a bad idea. But it looks like they want to transform the “second” part of the Pier, where the 2001-DCA is still alive. And that’s great, the theming looks like Toyville in Tokyo DisneySea! And on the right, it says “Pixar Fun Wheel” if I’m correct. Will this mean, finally, a true rehab of the wheel, including the walkway around it?
No news on any ride-overlays, but I can imagine Pixar Pier being the part of Paradise Pier from the old MaliBoomer location, up to the Carousel. Maybe a new theme for the carousel and some new Incredibles drop tower on the location of MaliBoomer?!
Very exciting this, I hope it will look all much better in 1 year from now.
