ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING starring Disney Channel darlings Sabrina Carpenter (“Girl Meets World”) and Sofia Carson (“Descendants”) will be debuting this summer on television but will also be available on DVD shortly after.
Based off the popular teen flick from the 1980s by the same name, the story features two competing babysitters that turn an ordinary night into a truly unforgettable adventure. The home release of the new movie will include exclusive Bloopers and a Magnetic Photo Frame.
The Disney Channel Original Movie also stars Nikki Hahn as introverted teen Emily Cooper, Mallory James Mahoney as young fashionista Katy Cooper, Max Gecowets as the rebellious Trey Anderson, Jet Jurgensmeyer as chef wunderkind Bobby Anderson, Madison Horcher as roller derby fanatic Alison “AJ” Anderson and Kevin Quinn (Disney Channel’s “BUNK’D”) as Jenny’s crush Zac Chase.
“Adventures in Babysitting” is directed by John Schultz (“Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer,” “Like Mike”)and written by Tiffany Paulsen (“Nancy Drew”). The movie is executive-produced by Michelle Manning (“Teen Beach 2,” “The Breakfast Club”) and Chuck Minsky is the director of photography (“The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement,” “Mother’s Day”).
ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING debuts on Disney Channel June 24, 2016 and is available on DVD on June 28, 2016.
