Excited to see Disney/Pixar’s INSIDE OUT and incredibly sweet short LAVA before the rest of the world? Well D23 and Fathom Events are teaming together to bring a one night only event in select United States movie theaters on June 16th.
This one-night event will include a screening of the full-length feature Inside Out, plus the new Lava short, three days before the film’s official release on June 19. Audiences will also be treated to 15 minutes of exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from Pixar Animation Studios and a Q&A with director Pete Docter, producer Jonas Rivera, and the voice of Joy, Amy Poehler, live via satellite from their Australian tour.
The event goes on sale to the public on May 15th, but D23 members can purchase tickets starting May 12th.

Feeling a little angry and sad that you can’t see Inside Out until its release on June 19? Never fear, we’ve got a way for you to see the movie three days early that will have you jumping for joy!
Fathom Events and Disney are working together to present a special screening of “Insider Access to Disney•Pixar’s Inside Out” in hundreds of select U.S. movie theaters on Tuesday, June 16, live at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT and tape-delayed to 7 p.m. MT/PT/AK/HI. Tickets don’t go on sale to the general public until May 15, but D23 Members get access to a special pre-sale for this one-night only event on May 12, three days early! When the pre-sale begins, you’ll be able to use your zip code to search for theaters in your area hosting this event.
