Tonight as part of the grand unveil of the announcements for the #Disneyland60 celebration, the new PAINT THE NIGHT nighttime parade was announced as one of the new offerings.

Similar to the PAINT THE NIGHT PARADE that debuted in Hong Kong last year, the new entertainment will light the night at Disneyland in a way unlike every before. More than 1.5 million brilliant LED lights will bring Disneyland to life in rich vibrant color.

According to Disney… Mickey Mouse uses his vivid imagination to harness the power of Tinker Bell’s pixie dust and “Paint the Night” in Disney dreams, bringing to light beloved characters and stories from “Monsters, Inc.,” “Cars,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Toy Story,” “Frozen” and more.

Watch in wonder as vibrantly costumed Characters from Disney and Pixar stories glide down Main Street, U.S.A.—including sisters Anna and Elsa, monster pals Mike and Sulley, Lightning McQueen, Ariel, Peter Pan and more—all riding aboard fantastic floats to the sights and sounds of unforgettable music and energetic performances.

The “Paint the Night” parade brings some of the most innovative floats, vibrant costumes, dazzling special effects, unforgettable music and energetic performances ever presented at Disneyland Resort. This new, state-of-the-art nighttime parade floods Main Street, U.S.A., with stunning color, fun surprises and more than 1.5 million brilliant LED lights.

It all starts May 22, 2015 at the Disneyland Resort!
