Soarin’ Over California has made an early return this year ahead of its normal run for the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival this year (which runs March 6 through April 27, 2026).

Soarin’ Over California will continue its run through July 1, 2026 when it will close temporarily and reopen starting July 2, 2026 as the all-new Soarin’ Across America debuting in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.

The return of the original opening-day film celebrates the beauty and wonder of California — from San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate Bridge to the crashing waves in Malibu — with pitstops at Yosemite National Park, Napa Valley, Lake Tahoe, Palm Springs, San Diego harbor, and more.

Seated in long rows of hang gliders, you are raised high into the air, and surrounded by an immersive, 80-foot projection dome to simulate the graceful motion of flight, while your senses will be teased with iconic scents of orange and ocean breeze found throughout California. Glide as you take in the serene and dramatic musical score written and recorded by Academy Award-winning composer Jerry Goldsmith.
