The most charming attraction at Disneyland transforms once again into the merriest cruise that ever sailed for the 2025 Disney Holiday with the limited-time return of the “it’s a small world” Holiday attraction overlay.
Here’s everything you need to know about “it’s a small world” Holiday during the 2025 Disney Holidays season at Disneyland Resort.
About the Attraction
The yearly overlay features the attraction’s children of the world donning seasonal costumes as they the holiday classic carols “Jingle Bells” and “Deck the Halls” intermixed with the cheery “It’s a Small World (After All)” theme that was written by the legendary Sherman Brothers. If you listen carefully, the mermaids sing “Jingle Shells.”
In total, five scents can be experienced in the attraction. In Asia, guests enjoy the fragrance of cherry blossoms. South America adds a classic cinnamon scent, and the South Seas bring tropical flair with the smell of coconut. The essence of fresh pine and peppermint candy fill the air in the European scenes.
On the attraction’s exterior more than 400,000 lights illuminate the building and it’s surrounding topiaries and plants. The facade also serves as the backdrop for a dazzling projection show that takes place several times per night.
