A Christmas Fantasy Parade is a cherished classic and it is back once again for the 2025 Disney Holiday season. With an iconic theme song that will leave you humming and appearances by favorite Disney friends — including grand finale visit by none other than Santa Claus himself — the parade packs in all the yuletide cheer.

Here’s everything you need to know about A Christmas Fantasy Parade during the 2025 Disney Holiday season at Disneyland Resort.

About the Parade

A Christmas Fantasy Parade features familiar sights, sounds (and even smells) with floats celebrating various aspects of the holiday season including a joyful start with Christmas toys and the cherished toy soldier band. From there, the parade journeys and a charming and heartwarming story of visuals for the season.

  • It’s onwards into Santa’s North Pole Mail Room where Mickey and friends help keep things sorted.
  • A Winter Wonderland unfolds next with frosty Christmas trees and a crew of joyful snow folk and dancing snowflakes plus a special appearance by Anna, Elsa, and Olaf.
  • Sweet Treats are always part of a Christmas Fantasy and enchanted gingerbread cookies plus a crew of elf bakers join Clarabelle Cow, Goofy, and Pluto to help assemble a giant gingerbread house.
  • Then it’s time for the Royal Ball where Disney princesses are ready to sing a Christmas carol at a regal candle-lit celebration of the holidays.
  • Santa’s Toyland isn’t too far behind with favorite characters from Toy Story helping show off Santa’s latest creations for the year.
  • Of course, a special red and green finale filed with classic Dickens carolers, eight not-so-tiny reindeer, and an appearance by the guy in the big red suit, Santa Claus!

How to Watch

A Christmas Fantasy Parade takes place twice daily along the Disneyland Park parade route and lasts for approximately 25 minutes. The long-running parade is a very popular part of the Disney Holidays and you’ll see fans staking out their ideal spots up to an hour or more before showtime. If this is an important one on your list, prioritize getting your perfect spot with plenty of time — you can use the time sitting to enjoy a meal or snack!

Viewing areas are available starting at the “it’s a small world” parade gate at the back of the park all the way up to the Main Street, USA parade gate at the front of the park. Typically, the first parade of the day begins at the back of the park and make it’s way to the front of the park. The second parade of the day will usually backtrack and make the trip in reverse.

It’s also important to keep in mind that the “start” time for the parade is from the point that it steps off from the parade gate. Depending on how far you are from the start point, that could add upwards of 20-minutes or more before you see it come your way.

Typical show times for the parade are 3:30pm and 5:15pm daily during the Disney Holidays season but always check the Disneyland app on the day of your visit for the most accurate information. The times and number for performances are typically different on the first weekend of December which is when Disneyland holds their Candlelight Processional.
