Disneyland is sparking a little bit of cheer and merriment this year for the 2025 Disney Holidays season with the return of the Holiday Fun with Santa & Friends! themed area at the Fantasyland Theatre. Complete with music, crafts, snacks — and of course, Santa — all are welcome to get a little bit merry.

What to Expect
Fantasyland Theatre plays host for a daytime winter wonderland with caroling, sing-alongs, character greets, holiday crafts, letters to Santa, and just a bunch of space to sit and relax and soak in the atmosphere. Festive photo-ops also create a bunch of opportunities to snap the perfect portraits for those holiday cards.
Despite it’s size, the overall area for this is not super large so it can get a little crowded, especially in the lower area where most of the character greets and activities are located. Plus, with the music, the lighting, and all the commotion, it can all get very… LOUD! Luckily, the nearby stadium seating offers somewhat of a quick respite with an overview of everything going on in the space.
How to See it
Holiday Fun with Santa & Friends! takes place at the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland and can be enjoyed at your own pace. You can typically expect to see this experience during the day from
Meet Santa
The Fantasyland Theater is the official place at Disneyland to score some face time with the jolly old soul. Plus, his elves might have a pepperminty treat on your way out.
Santa is typically available for most of the day except during performances of A Christmas Fantasy Parade. He will also take periodic breaks for cookies and milk but those will be much shorter.
Letters to Santa
Write up your list and drop it right into the mailbox where Santa’s elves will ensure prompt delivery to the man in the red suit!
Character Greets
Several characters can be seen here including Chip, Dale, Goofy, Pluto, and Clarabelle Cow dressed in their holiday best. We also spotted Geppetto, Jiminy Cricket, and Genie here so you never quite know who will be on Santa’s nice list!
Characters rotate throughout the day except during performances of A Christmas Fantasy Parade.
Crafts
If you’re looking for something a little calmer and quieter, you can escape to the upper patio where several relaxing creative activities can be discovered.
Coloring crafts are available giving you the chance to create your own tiny paper winter cottage ornament. You can also put pen to ink here and write out your letter to Santa.
Entertainment
Christmas Carolers
Several times during the day, live entertainment will lighten the atmosphere with some classic Christmas tunes including carolers.
Sing-Alongs
At various points during the day, you’ll be invited to sing along with words on the screen with classic holiday songs.

The large screen at the theater is used to show classic Disney animated shorts. In-between the animated shorts the screen features festive visuals.

Several photo-ops are available all around the area offering the perfect chance to snag some unforgettable memories and photos.
