After returning from refurbishment earlier this year seemingly brighter and more vibrant than ever before, the iconic “it’s a small world” attraction at Disneyland has received a new update commemorating the 70th Anniversary of Disneyland.

Check out video and photos of the attraction below featuring the new final verse.

We got our first listen at the new final verse last year at the D23 2024 event when Disney CEO Bob Iger shared video of a special moment he shared with Richard M. Sherman before his passing to unveil the special final verse of the song that he originally penned with his brother for Walt Disney.

As we shared last year, it’s fitting that this final message that he added to the song lives on forever, carrying the banner of hope with aspiration for peace. The verse that can now be heard in the attraction’s finale at Disneyland includes the following new lyrics:

Mother Earth unites us in heart and mind
And the love we give makes us humankind
Through our vast wondrous land
When we stand hand in hand
it’s a small world after all

When the attraction reopened earlier his year, it debuted not just with the new characters added from Coco but also with a host of updates that includes new lighting packages to just about every inch of the interior and the restoration of several special effects throughout the nearly 60 year old attraction.
