Study up, it’s time for Jujutsu Kaisen! The popular anime is being showcased during Universal Fan Fest Nights 2025 and we’ve had a chance to check out the special 4D presentation, food, and more for Jujutsu Kaisen: Hunger of the Cursed!

With hosted tickets, we were given access to the park to uncover all the fun for ourselves. Here’s a look at everything you need to know about Jujutsu Kaisen: Hunger of the Cursed for Universal Fan Fest Nights 2025 at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Attraction

Located at the Dreamworks Theater on the Upper Lot, this anime comes to life in Hollywood with an experience that originally debuted at Universal Studios Japan. The 4D experience combines on-screen visuals with physical effects in the theater including the motion-enabled seating.

What to Know

  • The presentation is in Japanese with English subtitles. The whole Jujutsu Kaisen: Hunger of the Cursed experience lasts approximately 20 minutes.
  • In the lobby, we learn that students, staff, and guests are invited to Osaka Jujutsu High for the groundbreaking ceremony
  • Straight from the popular Jujutsu Kaisen anime, we quickly are introduced to Yuji, Megumi and Nobara who are on alert
  • Principal Kurourushi also appears on screen to welcome guests to Osaka Jujutsu High but all is not as it seems and we find out he is a Curse User
  • Our heroes step in for an epic battle that includes the appearance of familiar shikigami (the creatures Megumi summons to aid him in battle) and a whole lot of motion, wind, and other special effects in the theater

Quick Tips

  1. Visit this attraction later in the day. If you are planning to stay until 2am, jump in line around 1:50am to get into the very last showing which will start at 2am. It’s like getting an extra 20-minutes of in-park time! Plus, stores remain open after 2am for extra shopping time with low crowds.
  2. Seats in the first half of the theater, closer to the screen might be more impactful since this experience does not fully utilize the immersive wrap-around effects normally seen in this attraction.

The Jujutsu Kaisen Concession Cart is a re-theme of the regular DreamWorks concession cart just outside the Dreamworks Theater offering sweet treats and drinks. Highlights include a red velvet cookie, churros topped with frosting and printed tokens, a chocolate brownie churro combo, and a strawberry chili-lime frozen beverage garnished with a fresh strawberry.

Shopping

Of course, you can expect there to be a healthy selection of merch. A variety of products will be available featuring the Divine Dogs, including larger-than-life plush hats with both twins as well as a dual-colored zipper hoodie and keychains. Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro and Satoru Gojo feature with merch including a t-shirt, mug, tote and keychains.
