Amidst a flurry of announcements for the upcoming Disneyland 70th Anniversary celebration, the Mouse confirmed that a brand new show is coming to Disney California Adventure: World of Color Happiness.

What to Expect

“World of Color Happiness!” promises to continue to transform Paradise Bay into brilliant array of signature fountains, dynamic lighting, colorful lasers, fog and dramatic flame effects that fans have come to know and love over the years.

World of Color first debuted in 2010 as part of the “Summer Nightastic!” marketing campaign. Several iterations of the show have existed over the years including the most recent, World of Color: Onet

Highlights

  • Inspired comes from Walt Disney’s words from the opening day park dedication from seven decades ago: “To all who come to this happy place… welcome!”
  • The nighttime spectacular will explore “happy” through a kaleidoscope of emotions.

  • The show will be hosted by Joy and the other Emotions from Pixar Animation Studios’ INSIDE OUT and INSIDE OUT 2.

  • The Emotions manifest music and moments from favorite Walt Disney Animation Studios’ and Pixar Animation Studios’ stories, including TURNING RED, A GOOFY MOVIE, TANGLED, THE LION KING, and more.
  • The concept art released for the show also features characters from THE LITTLE MERMAID, WISH, FROZEN, and ENCANTO.
