As we head into 2025, members of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club will find a host of options that they can elect for membership. With four options available at various price points (from free to $300), there’s now more ways than ever to customize the options available to you as a member. To help you grasp the changes, we’ve outlined the key changes as well as prices and details for each tier.
Here’s everything you need to know about membership levels starting in 2025 for D23: The Official Disney Fan Club!
What’s Changing
Most recently, the membership options for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Club included three separate choices. General (free); Gold Member ($99/year); and Gold Duo ($129.99/year). Gold Membership allowed access to D23-exclusive events but the standard Gold Membership only allowed the named member to purchase event tickets for themselves — no guests. Instead, the highest-priced option allowed a couple or family to have one membership with access to events for the member plus one guest. This third option proved helpful for households that didn’t want or need two sets of all the membership gifts.
With the changes in 2025, D23 has fine-tuned the options even more to provide greater flexibility for families. There are now four total membership tier options which we explain below in greater detail. For fans who utilized the former Gold Duo option, they will find themselves paying about $20 more starting in 2025 however individual members will still be paying the same price as last year.
Perhaps the most noteworthy change is the removal of the automatically-included print version of the Disney twenty-three magazine from all Gold tier types. Starting with the Spring 2025 edition, all Gold Members will have access to a new DIGITAL version of the magazine. The print version will still exist — Gold Members will find the printed version of the magazine available for separate purchase on DisneyStore.com for $9.99/issue.
