Prices

  • 8-coupon Regular ($63)
  • 8-coupon Magic Key passholders ($58)
  • 4-coupon ($32) – No Magic Key Discount

Value Alert

To get the most bang for your buck out of the 8-coupon passport, you’ll just want to make sure you don’t get any of the items that cost less than $7.87 (regular) or $7.25 (Magic Key passholder). For the 4-coupon passport, don’t get items that cost less than $8 to maximize your savings. Considering the prices, that shouldn’t be terribly difficult as long as you avoid desserts and drinks!

Know Before You Go

  • WHERE TO BUY: The pass can be purchased at a number of places you might not expect (with shorter lines) including Elias & Co., Festival Gifts, Festive Food Marketplace, Julius Katz & Sons, Seaside Souvenirs, and Sip and Savor Carts in the park.
  • SAVE TIME: Festive Food Marketplace kiosks are equipped to sell you items from ANY of the kiosks. So find the shortest line and you can make your purchase for ALL locations at once. Then, simply take your receipt to the appropriate kiosks to get your items! NOTE: This will only work for items at Festive Food Marketplace kiosks; to redeem or purchase Sip and Savor items from non Festive Food Marketplaces, you will have to wait in the respective lines for each location.
  • HOURS: The Festive Food Marketplace kiosk booths are typically open from 10:30am – 9:00pm but always check the Disneyland app on the day of your visit for the latest updates.

What We Tried at Festive Food Marketplaces

The Festive Food Marketplaces are small kiosks that dot the park. While themed options exist all around the resort, the offerings from these locations are specifically centered on the event. You can pay for items here with cash or by using redemptions from a Sip and Savor Pass.

A Twist on Tradition

A Twist on Tradition can be found across from Sonoma Terrace overlooking San Fransokyo Square. Here’s what we tried…

20241116_091923

Barbecue Pulled Pork Cornbread Bake (NEW)

20241116_110418

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Barbecue Pulled Pork Cornbread Bake ($9) is served with a creamy slaw. This was surprisingly delightful, the cornbread had a great texture and it paired perfectly with the surprisingly sweet pulled pork underneath. The slaw wasn’t anything special but offered some nice contrasting crunch.

Turkey Galantine Croissant Muffin Slider (NEW)

20241116_110236

RATING: ☀️☀️⚫⚫⚫

Turkey Galantine Croissant Muffin Slider ($9) features an herb mayo and cranberry marmalade. We found this exceptionally mediocre. Nothing about the dish is offensive and yet nothing about it stands out either. It’s a perfectly fine sandwich that we hoped would have been more interesting.

More to Try

  • Berry Pomegranate Paloma ($18): Blanco Tequila, blueberry purée, lime, cranberry and pomegranate juices, and agave syrup topped with Fresca and garnished with a chile-lime rim and orange wheel

Brews & Bites

Brews & Bites can be found in front of The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure overlooking Paradise Park. Here’s what we tried…

20241116_092807

Chicken Chicharrón (NEW)

20241116_123903(0)

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Chicken Chicharrón ($8) is served with with basmati rice, herb chutney and masala drizzle. We were surprisingly blown away by the amount of flavor packed into every bite with this one. It does have a little bit of heat to it but it’s a winner of a dish. We were left wanting more!

Passion Fruit Rose Lassi (NEW)

20241116_123642

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️⚫⚫

Passion Fruit Rose Lassi ($7.50) features passion fruit nectar, yogurt, and rose and honey syrups garnished with a rose petal. Disney has served some pretty great lassi drinks over the past few years and this is unfortunately not one of them. It’s good, just forgettable.

Favorite Things

20241116_094715

Sticky Toffee Pudding Macaron

20241215_125514

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Sticky Toffee Pudding Macaron ($8) features a Mickey-shaped chocolate macaron filled with vanilla buttercream, date cake, and salted toffee sauce. If reading that description makes your mouth water then you know exactly what you’re getting here. It’s every bit as good as you would hope for and yes it’s a sugar bomb. This one is decadent and rich. Great to share!

Braised Pork Belly Adobo

Untitled photo

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Braised Pork Belly Adobo with Garlic Fried Rice ($9..50) we’ve had in previous years and found it to be strong contender for best of the fest with wonderful balance of delicious garlic fried rice, tender braised pork belly, and lightly crispy pork rind. This thing is magical. There is a reason it is one of the only items on the menu that has never been removed or changed.

More to Try

  • Spiced Coconut Cocktail ($17.50): Dark rum, spice tea, coconut purée, and evaporated and condensed milks garnished with nutmeg and a wafer stick (NEW)

Grandma’s Recipes

Grandma’s Recipes can be found at the Bountiful Valley Hideaway near the entrance to Avengers Campus. Here’s what we tried…

20241116_104349

Cookie Dough Yule Log (NEW)

20241116_104708

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Cookie Dough Yule Log  ($8) is filled with chocolate chip cookie dough and white chocolate mousse, covered with chocolate buttercream. This one is just 10s across the board for presentation, appearance, flavor, and texture. A wonderful dessert and perfect for sharing.

Barbacoa Tamal

Untitled photo

RATING: ☀️☀️⚫⚫⚫

Barbacoa Tamal de Res ($9.25) we’ve had in previous years and it features Oaxaca cheese, tomatillo salsa, and crema. We wanted to love this but the meat was dry and so was the masa. The green salsa helped tie everything together but this was not the winner for which we were hoping.

More to Try

  • Café de Olla Cold Brew ($8.25): Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. Mexico Origin Coffee, low fat and condensed milks, house-made spiced syrup with star anise, clove, and cinnamon, topped with a chocolate dulce de leche sweet cream, and garnished with a mini-pan dulce (NEW)

Holiday Duets

Holiday Duets can be found in Grizzly Peak near the The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure restrooms. Here’s what we tried…

20241116_093458

The Holiday Duet (NEW)

20241116_125552

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫

The Holiday Duet ($9.25) is half portion of both Chorizo Queso Fundido Mac & Cheese and the Savory Kugel Mac & Cheese giving you the the most bang for your buck. Sample both items with a single Sip and Savor redemption! See our thoughts on each below.

Queso Mac & Cheese (NEW)

20241116_124817

RATING: ☀️☀️⚫⚫⚫

Chorizo Queso Fundido Mac & Cheese ($9) features a creamy mac with tortilla crunch. This one had some high expectations because it replaced the popular Chorizo Queso Fundido dip with chips that was a standby for many years. This update pales in comparison by every single metric.

Savory Kugel Mac & Cheese

Untitled photo

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Savory Kugel Mac & Cheese ($8.50) we’ve had in previous years and features herb breadcrumbs, sour cream and chives. We had this last year and thought it was perfectly servicable but this year, whether or not it’s actually different, we absolutely loved it. The sauce was rich and hearty.

Cranberry Christmas Mule (NEW)

20241116_124939

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Cranberry Christmas Mule ($17.50) features gin, elderflower & ginger liqueurs, cherry purée, cranberry & lime juices, topped with a citrus hard seltzer and garnished with a lime wedge gummy. There’s a lot going on here but it’s perfectly refreshing and despite the ingredient list is not sickeningly sweet.

Winter Sliderland

Winter Sliderland can be found across from Sonoma Terrace overlooking San Fransokyo Square. Here’s what we tried…

20241116_092047(0)

Al Pastor Pork Slider (NEW)

20241116_133319

RATING: ☀️⚫⚫⚫⚫

Al Pastor Pork & Pineapple Slider ($9.25) is served on on corn brioche. If there was a razzy award for some of the worst theme park offerings, this would be up there. The sauce is completely unrecognizable as anything close to al pastor and the texture of the meat was off-putting. Skip this one.

Brisket Slider

Untitled photo

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫

Brisket Slider ($9.25) we’ve had in previous years and is filled with smoked onions and horseradish ketchup on a pretzel roll. While not particularly very holiday-ey, the flavors are a great meld of what you might expect. Our only real complaint was a very soggy bottom bun.

Hazelnut Cookie Hot Cocoa Cocktail (NEW)

20241116_133647

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫

Hazelnut Cookie Hot Cocoa Cocktail ($17.00) features cookies and cream hazelnut hot cocoa with Irish cream liqueur. For the price, the portion was a little disappointing (emphasis on little) but the flavors here are just absolutely spot on.  This is a perfect little holiday drink that we can guest describe as warm and cozy.

Hot Butter Pecan Bourbon Cocktail (NEW)

20241116_133627

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️⚫⚫

Hot Butter Pecan Bourbon Cocktail ($17.50) features bourbon, apple cider, butter, and butter pecan syrups garnished with a bitters apple butter pecan foam. The flavors here absolutely did nothing for us. The richness of the butter pecan was a complete sharp disjointed contrast to the bitterness of the cider and the bitter foam.

More to Try

  • Jelly Donut Punch ($7.50): Apricot Nectar, house-made raspberry and strawberry jam syrup, cookie butter, and lemon juice garnished with a skewered powdered sugar donut hole (Non-alcoholic beverage) (NEW)
  • Cookies and Cream Hazelnut Hot Cocoa ($6.50): Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. hot chocolate with cookies and cream flavors, melted chocolate, hazelnut purée, and Irish cream syrup garnished with strawberry whipped cream (Non-alcoholic beverage) (NEW)

Merry Mashups

Merry Mashups can be found near the entrance to Avengers Campus. Here’s what we tried…

20241116_091303

M&M’S Peanut Butter Fudge Cake (NEW)

20241116_110009 20241116_111532

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️⚫⚫

M&M’S Peanut Butter Fudge Cake ($7.50) is a chocolate fudge cake filled with peanut praline and M&M’S Peanut Butter Minis, glazed with salted peanut butter, and topped with vanilla Chantilly crème. This is such a dense, rich, and wonderful addition to the menu options this year. It’s super sweet but oh so delicious!

Holiday Mash Bowl (NEW)

20241116_105600

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️⚫⚫

Holiday Mash Bowl ($8.75) features chicken, cheddar mashed potatoes, and turkey gravy with cranberry stuffing crunch. On face value this should be a winner but the downfall is the use of the same chicken nuggets that were used during Pixar Fest which are absolutely terrible. The cheesy potatoes are really good though.

More to Try

  • Glacier Margarita ($17.50): Blanco tequila, blue curaçao, coconut syrup, lime and white cranberry juice, and rosemary syrup garnished with champagne bubble candies on a skewer

What We Tried at Other Sip and Savor Locations

Beyond the Festival Marketplace kiosks, there’s a bunch of options all around the park that will offer “tasting-sized” portions instead of the full-size entrees. You can pay for these items with cash or by using redemptions from a Sip and Savor Pass. These items are in addition to broader menus that also feature other items that can be paid for only with cash.

Sonoma Terrace

Pan Con Pollo

Untitled photo

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫

Pan con Pollo ($10.25 for full size portion) features Braised Chicken, Spiced Tomato Sauce, Mayonnaise and Mustard Dressing in a French Bread Roll, served with Pickled Vegetable Slaw. Top marks for presentation and high marks on flavor. This is the type dish we expect from these kiosks, good flavors, slightly elevated but not pretentious.

Studio Catering Co.

Korean Fried Chicken Slider (NEW)

20241116_105331

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️⚫

Korean Fried Chicken Sliders ($14.49) features Korean fried chicken sliders topped with gochujang sauce, kimchi coleslaw, and pickled onions served on sweet Hawaiian bread. You get two sliders when you pay cash (should come with fries for the price) otherwise you only get one with a Sip and Savor redemption. Flavors are great.

Kinderpunsch

20241115_142322

RATING: ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Kinderpunsch ($6.49) is made with apple cider, hibiscus, and cherry is a non-alcoholic beverage. We were very surprised by this one as it had a nectary vibe to it that made it feel like more than just soda water with some syrups. A robust round up of flavors and although not listed but we can’t help but feel there’s also falernum in this.
