Disney fans were invite to channel some spooktacular fun this haunt season with the D23 Tune-in to Terror: A Hollywood Halloween–Presented by Disney+ costume party at the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel which took place on October 26, 2024.

About the Event
Over the course of the night, fans were invited to enjoy three floors of fun thematic rooms providing photo opportunities, activities, munchies, and more! Evening entertainment included a live band and DJs while passed hors d’oeuvres and snack stations with both sweet and savory surprises were available.
All attendees received a special commemorative credential and an event pin inspired by the retro television set from the event logo. As a Halloween Party, all guests were encouraged to dress in costume for the swanky soirĂ©e. Here’s a look at what the evening had to offer. Tickets ranged in price from $179 to $269 with the top tier tickets offering preferred prime time entrance, drink voucher, and a commemorative Tip Top Club poster with gold foil details.
The Chilling Channels
The event was split up into six distinct “channels” featuring a different theme for the Halloween season. All the spooky Disney classics were featured including Tower of Terror, Hocus Pocus, Haunted Mansion, Agatha All Along, and even the Disney short Skeleton Dance.
The Tip Top Club
The Tip Top Club featured in the hotel’s actual lobby with grand decor evoking the Hollywood Tower Hotel. A display by the Disney archives featured several pieces used in the actual attraction at Disney California Adventure. The room came to life with live jazz piano and ghostly appearances from various residents from the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror including a Shirley Temple doll, the front desk bell, and more.
The Black Flame Ballroom
The Black Flame Ballroom, inspired by Hocus Pocus and Hocus Pocus 2, offered a live band for and dancing along with photo spots and a surprise appearance by Doug Jones who portrayed Billy Butcherson in the film. Winifred’s spell book was also on display!
The Witches’ Road Lounge
The Witches’ Road Lounge was themed after Agatha Harkness and her coven from Agatha All Along, with a DJ providing music and decor and photo-ops inspired by the Witches’ Road.
The Skeleton Dance Party
The Skeleton Dance Party in the Academy Room was themed around The Skeleton Dance Silly Symphony short, featuring another DJ and some more photo-ops. This is also where the evening give redemption was held.
The Happiest Haunt
The Happiest Haunt featured a Seance Room with a fortune teller plus the chance to eat and drink and additional photo opportunities.
The Rerun Room
The Rerun Room was located behind a secret bookcase that lead into a theater lounge space where Halloween classics were featured on the large screen.
