It was confirmed at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event that the upcoming reimagined TEST TRACK attraction at EPCOT will be opening in 2025 — we also got some great details about what we can expect as part of the refresh.

The showcase for Disney Experiences at the Honda Center was hosted Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences (AKA head of Parks and Resorts) who shared that the reimagined Test Track at EPCOT will be opening in 2025.

Disney shared a few details about what riders can expect:

  • Test Track will celebrate today’s innovation while highlighting the past, present, and future.
  • The new exterior harkens back to the original pavilion design
  • The queue will feature six distinct exhibits, and within each room celebrate the vehicles – and people behind the vehicles – that push the envelope and help get people to our next chapter in our motion journey.
  • New show scenes will be added showcasing technological advances and how our lifestyles and relationships to mobility connect everyone.
  • Enjoy a joy ride through scenes focusing on onboard technology, customization, and personalization.
  • Brace yourself for a a scenic outdoor route and the trademark high-speed finale

Construction on this reimagined experience has already begun and is expected to open in 2025.
