The superhero themed land, Avengers Campus, at Disney California Adventure is going to be seeing some super-sized enhancements over the coming years with several new additions confirmed at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

Here’s everything we learned about Avengers Campus during the 2024 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

The showcase for Disney Experiences at the Honda Center was hosted Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences (AKA head of Parks and Resorts). With Deadpool at his side, several juicy details were revealed including the name for the new King Thanos E-ticket (Avengers Infinity Defense) plus an entirely new attraction (Stark Flight Lab) with new adventures that double the size of the land. Here’s what we learned…

Avengers Infinity Defense

  • Previously confirmed at D23 Expo in 2022, the multi-world adventure promises technology courtesy of Stark Enterprises that allows the Avengers to jump between worlds… but this tech has been stolen and it seems King Thanos is to blame.
  • On the journey, Avengers will jump to iconic MCU locations including Asgard, Wakanda, and New York City.

Stark Flight Lab

  • Tony Stark is testing new flight simulator equipment and you’re invited to hop onto these two-person pods to deploy to a test station.
  • Robot arms grab your pod and starts whirling you around in a simulated flight.
  • Mr. Stark himself will be joining you for the journey with Robert Downey Jr. reprising his role as Tony Stark for the attraction.
  • Plus, on different rides you may be gearing up with a different Avenger character for your training session.

Doubling Avengers Campus

  • All of these new changes will double the current size of Avengers Campus and while nothing concrete was confirmed it would seem we will very soon be saying good by to most if not all of Hollywood Land.

  • Construction on this expansion will begin next year.
