A literal carnival sprung up at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 in celebration of ABC’s ABBOTT ELEMENTARY. The “A Very Abbott” (A.V.A) Festival brings to life two fan-favorite episodes from the series with real activities and goodies for all in attendance. And no badge is required… just a very long standby line!
Here’s everything we got to see during A.V.A. FEST at San Diego Comic-Con 2024.
Straight off the television screen, this carnival-themed activation brings soaring swing ride, a colorful ball pit slide photo op plus the chance to “dunk a white dude,” and partake in a variety of series-themed games and attractions inspired by the beloved characters. Plus, there’s hourly live performances by the official Philadelphia Eagles Drumline and a festival playlist curated by Questlove.
No badge is required and the event takes place from Thursday, July 25 through Sunday, July 28 behind the San Diego Convention Center!
Upon entering the venue, you’ll get two tokens which you can redeem for experiences within the activation. More on that below.
