Critter Country will be closing soon as work moves into high-gear for the upcoming Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction and it’s bringing a bunch of new changes to the land, too.
While the finishing touches are put on the conversion of Splash Mountain, the surrounding areas will also be getting some updates including the re-theme of the land’s two shopping locations.
Critter Country will temporarily close beginning May 1, 2024 so that work can begin to bring both Louis’ Critter Club and Ray’s Berets to life in addition to the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Here’s a few additional details on the new shopping locations:
Louis’ Critter Club
- Pooh Corner will become Louis’ Critter Club will offer a blend of apparel, accessories, home decor and more featuring some of your favorite critters and Princess Tiana
- The treats side of Pooh’s Corner will remain dedicated to the 100 acre woods offering sweet treats including Tigger Tails.
Ray’s Berets
- The Briar Patch will become Ray’s Berets and other than a change in theme should largely stay the same, offering headwear, apparel, accessories, toys and more.
- Firefly Raymond and his firefly kin in the coziest cabin in Critter Country
See it for Yourself
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure retheme of Splash Mountain is expected to open at Magic Kingdom Summer 2024 and at Disneyland late 2024. An official opening date for either attraction has not yet been announced.
