On Disc One…

Through the Eras features Kevin Feige, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Kathryn Hahn, plus a bunch of other cast and crew who weigh in on the roughly 10-minute piece to talk about the unprecedented nature of this show and how special it really was to make. It was such a joy to revisit this world and made me remember how badly I wanted them to figure out a way to make a second season. There’s fantastic behind-the-scenes footage including cast on set, crew behind the scenes, and everything else you’d expect in a great — but much too short — featurette. It also features a segment taking a peek into the upcoming Agatha Harkness spin-off (currently called Agatha: Darkhold Diaries although it’s already had two other names) including great footage of her in the upcoming show.

It’s been a minute since a Gag Reel really made me laugh out loud and this one delivers in spades. I suppose it helps when the production is framed as a sitcom that light hearted flubs and mistakes are going to come naturally and they are fantastic here. Shoutout to the massive snot drip — and that’s all we’re going to say on that matter.

Deleted Scenes are a prerequisite on any home release even thinking it’s getting any love and WandaVision once again delivers. There’s two scenes included here, “Ankle Bracelet” which gives a peek at the secret witness that Woo was referencing in the show (that many thought could be Reed Richards for some reason) and “Mouth to Mouth” which is a short fun and funny scene at the end of the show featuring Kathryn Hahn hamming it up one more time for sitcom-style laughs. It seems like it could/should have been a light-hearted post credit scene for the last episode.

On Disc Two…

There’s just one extra here and it’s one you can already see on Disney+, it’s the Assembled: The Making of WandaVision which is a chef’s kiss one-hour of movie-making magic that isn’t new to the release but such a great and fun watch.
